Privacy Policy

Policy version: 2026-10-29

Shenzhen JU YAN KE JI operates ariktools.com under the ARIK Tools brand and is responsible for the personal information it processes for the purposes described here. Business contact information can be personal information even when you contact us on behalf of an organization.

1. Information you provide

We receive information you submit through inquiries, email, account or purchasing functions, and after-sales communications. This may include your name, work email, telephone number, organization, role, country, delivery or billing details, product requirements, order references and support records. Provide information relevant to the request and avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive information.

Technical attachments may contain drawings, labels, photographs, videos or project details. Remove personal information that is not needed for the product or repair assessment. If you provide colleagues’ or recipients’ details, ensure they are appropriately informed and that you have a basis to share them. A payment provider, where used, handles payment credentials under its own notice; do not send full card details through an RFQ.

2. Technical information collected through the website

Our website and its service providers may process network and device information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, referral information, event data and security logs. Cookies or similar technologies may support sessions, preferences, form protection, measurement or advertising, depending on the feature and configuration. The categories have different purposes and are not all necessary for submitting an inquiry.

3. Why we use information

PurposeTypical information
Respond to an RFQ and assess compatibility, quantities, samples or customization.Business contact details, product requirements and relevant files.
Confirm and fulfill orders, arrange shipment, invoice and communicate about payment.Order contacts, delivery and billing details, transaction references.
Diagnose faults, identify spare parts and administer warranty or quality claims.Order and model references, serial or batch details where relevant, photos and support history.
Protect the website, maintain records required by law and address disputes.Necessary technical logs and relevant business records.
Measure website performance or send permitted product communications.Relevant event data, preferences and business contact details subject to applicable choices.

4. Legal grounds and marketing choices

The legal ground depends on the purpose and law that applies. Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, managing an organization’s inquiry or order and protecting the website generally relies on legitimate interests, balanced against the individual’s rights. Contract-related grounds apply where the individual is personally a party or requests pre-contract steps. Legal obligations support required accounting or compliance records. Consent is used where required for a specific purpose, including relevant optional technologies or marketing. Laws in other locations may require a different ground or separate consent.

An RFQ does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated promotions. You may object to direct marketing or withdraw consent-based marketing at any time by using an unsubscribe option in the message or contacting [email protected]. Necessary order and service communications are separate from optional marketing. Reading this policy is not blanket consent to every use of information.

5. Service providers and other recipients

We disclose information that is necessary for the task to relevant website and hosting providers, email or business-system providers, payment and logistics providers, professional advisers, and manufacturing or repair partners involved in a request. Their access should be limited to the relevant purpose and governed by the contractual or legal protections that apply. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights, or in a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements.

We do not treat receiving an inquiry as permission to publish a customer’s identity, project photographs, drawings or private-label artwork. Public case-study or advertising use requires an appropriate separate permission. Technical or commercial confidentiality requirements can also be documented in a project agreement.

6. Google services and cookies

The website uses Google measurement or tagging services and Google reCAPTCHA for form protection. Google services may receive device, usage and network signals, and may use cookies or similar technologies according to the service and configuration. Google Tag Manager is a tag-management tool; the tags it deploys can have their own purposes. reCAPTCHA is intended to help distinguish legitimate submissions from spam or abuse; its processing is also described in Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Where law requires consent, optional analytics or advertising storage and access must wait for that consent. Consent must be withdrawable; contact us if a relevant control is unavailable. Browser settings can restrict cookies, but may also affect sessions, preferences or protected forms. A security purpose does not automatically make unrelated advertising technology necessary.

7. International processing

Our business is based in Shenzhen, China. Information supplied from another country may be accessed by our team in China and by service providers in other locations. International access or transfers must meet the applicable legal requirements, including any required notice, separate consent, contractual safeguards, assessment or other permitted transfer mechanism. Contact us for information about the recipients, locations and safeguards relevant to your data. Additional notices or consent requests will be provided where required.

8. Retention

We retain personal information for the purpose for which it is needed and for applicable legal requirements. For an inquiry that does not become an order, relevant criteria include the active follow-up period, the expected procurement cycle and whether further business contact is reasonably justified. Order and after-sales records may need to remain for fulfillment, the applicable warranty, accounting, tax and legal-claim periods. Marketing preferences and suppression records may be retained as needed to honor your choices.

When information is no longer needed and there is no lawful reason to retain it, it should be deleted or anonymized. A request to delete data may be limited where records must legally remain; we will explain the applicable reason. Contact us for the retention criteria or period relevant to a particular record.

9. Your rights and requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to information, access or a copy, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection or withdrawal of consent. Some locations also provide rights to opt out of specified advertising-related processing or sale or sharing as legally defined. These rights have conditions and exceptions. Objecting to direct marketing is separate from asking us to delete records needed to prevent further marketing.

Send a request to [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request” and enough detail to identify the relevant interaction. We may ask for proportionate identity or authority verification and will respond within the applicable legal period. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful, and withholding optional marketing consent does not by itself prevent a business inquiry.

10. Security and third-party services

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures appropriate to the information and risks, including limiting access for business purposes. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We will address personal-data incidents and provide notifications where required by law. External links, social networks and third-party services have their own privacy practices. This website is intended for professional procurement and is not directed to children.

11. Contact and changes

Privacy contact: Shenzhen JU YAN KE JI, [email protected]. Business address: 13F, Block A, Bai Rui Da Building, Vanke City, Ban Tian, Long Gang District, Shenzhen. Material changes will be reflected in the published policy and notified or consented to separately where law requires. A policy update does not itself create permission for an incompatible new use of previously collected data.
