Description
Controlled finishing of welded flooring seams
Choose the trimming knife by blade shape, working position and the flooring system’s finishing method. The tool removes excess weld material; cooling and trimming stages still follow the material instructions.
| What matters on site | Practical value |
|---|---|
| Match blade shape to the seam | Compare access, grip and how the edge meets the weld. |
| Control the trimming stage | Use the required initial and final trimming method with suitable guides or accessories. |
| Protect the flooring face | Inspect the blade and validate the cut before trimming a visible seam. |

Spatula and Crescent Trimming Knives
| Configuration | Dimensions and construction |
|---|---|
| Red-handle seam trimmer CPQ | Product Structure: Spatula cutting head, red grip. Known Dimension Scope: Current overall dimensions 170×30×28.5mm; blade width is separately unrecorded. Product Net-weight Scope: Complete tool 0.16kg. |
| Crescent knife YYWD | Product Structure: Curved broad blade, pictured black handle. Known Dimension Scope: Blade approximately 200×70×2.03mm; complete-knife dimensions unrecorded. Product Net-weight Scope: Complete-tool net weight blank; do not transfer an old blade weight. |
| Configuration | Application and value | Selection checks |
|---|---|---|
| Red-handle seam trimmer CPQ | Trial trimming of raised weld rod and final flush finishing on flat surfaces. Assess cutting angle, handle, and cutting-head support. Complete-tool net weight and plastic box recorded; create CPQ-specific blade records. | Blade width, trimming guide, and supplied blade quantity remain unconfirmed; neither 30mm product width nor 35mm box width establishes blade width. Direction marking, cutting edge, same-material flushness, and adjacent surfaces. |
| Crescent knife YYWD | Similar flat tasks using the curved cutting edge and matching trimming guide. Assess curved-blade movement, broad-blade clearance, and support. Alternative curved cutting edge and grip layout. | Many complete-tool and handle-material gaps; broad shape requires actual cutting clearance. Separate blade/complete-tool measurements, support, flushness, and adjacent surfaces. |

Frequently asked questions
Can it trim flush in one pass immediately after welding?
Not as a universal method. Confirm trimming stages and cooling from flooring and rod instructions to avoid depressions after cooling shrinkage.
Is 30mm the blade width?
30mm is current overall product width and 35mm is separately recorded plastic-box width. Neither confirms blade width; measure the cutting edge separately.
Does a flush finish mean the weld passes?
No. Surface flushness and weld fusion are different acceptance items.
Are all pictured spare blades included?
Unconfirmed; specify in the quotation and packing list.
