Compatibility Checklist
| Check | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Identify Both Sides of the Pairing | Record the exact host tool and proposed handle, including model, revision and part reference. |
| Describe the Actual Connection | Check whether the connection is threaded, a tube-and-clamp, a pinned socket, a bracket or a joint assembly. |
| Check Retention and the Intended Load Path | Use the approved tool and handle instructions to confirm seating and locking. |
| Strip Cutting and Trimming Need Controlled Geometry | Per PVC Strip Cutters, check that the approved extension preserves the tool’s guide reference, feed direction and access to the working edge. |
| Cork Boards Need Their Own Mounting Evidence | Per Cork Rubbing Boards, identify the exact board attachment and any specified extension fixture. |
| Heated Tools Add Operating Requirements | Inspect Welding Gun Extension Handle only when the gun is cooled and isolated according to its manual. |
| Verify the Approved Setup Before Reordering | After documentary approval, make the prescribed cold assembly checks, then test the permitted task on representative material. |
Treat the Handle and Head as a Working Assembly
Identify the host tool, handle and any adapter, then check connection, retention and operating control. Cutting, trimming, pressing and heated-tool arrangements need separate approval. Added reach cannot create compatibility or turn a handheld gun into an automatic welding machine.
| Selection point | What to check |
|---|---|
| Host and handle | Identify both exact items |
| Retention | Use the approved attachment |
| Working control | Check the permitted complete arrangement |
1. Identify Both Sides of the Pairing
Record the exact host tool and proposed handle, including model, revision and part reference. Separate Strip Cutter Extension Handle, Welding Gun Extension Handle, Trimming Tool Extension Handle e Cork Board Extension Handle. Each starts with its own host mechanism. A long tube, matching colour or similar grip does not establish interchangeability. Photograph the host attachment and handle end together without fitting an unknown pair. Keep any original adapter or retaining bracket identified.
2. Describe the Actual Connection
Check whether the connection is threaded, a tube-and-clamp, a pinned socket, a bracket or a joint assembly. Record the accessible mating dimensions with units, seating length and required fasteners. For threads, identify size, pitch and form from the drawing or a proper thread check. For clamped tubes, measure the relevant outside or inside diameter and insertion limits. Include hole positions, keying and shoulder features. Do not select from handle length alone or treat a matching tube diameter as a complete connection specification.
3. Check Retention and the Intended Load Path
Use the approved tool and handle instructions to confirm seating and locking. Check that required pins, clamps, brackets and fasteners are present and correctly identified. The assembly must carry the intended pushing, pulling or guiding load without twisting or shifting. Do not drill extra holes, force a thread or use an improvised adaptor to obtain reach. If the tool maker does not approve the arrangement, it remains unconfirmed even when the handle can be physically attached.
4. Strip Cutting and Trimming Need Controlled Geometry
Per PVC Strip Cutters, check that the approved extension preserves the tool’s guide reference, feed direction and access to the working edge. For Spatula Weld Trimming Knife o Crescent Weld Trimming Knife, check whether the exact tool is designed to operate with an extension and any required carriage or joint. A handle can alter the angle applied to the blade. It should not turn a hand-held cutting method into standing operation without the documented supporting mechanism. Assess start, finish and nearby obstacles.
5. Cork Boards Need Their Own Mounting Evidence
Per Cork Rubbing Boards, identify the exact board attachment and any specified extension fixture. Check the approved working orientation and how the face stays supported against the material. A fixed hand grip on a board does not prove an extension socket exists. Verify reach and local clearance without tipping the board or bringing metal parts against the floor. Use only the load and task allowed by the confirmed arrangement. Do not infer compatibility from another tool’s screw thread.
6. Heated Tools Add Operating Requirements
Inspect Welding Gun Extension Handle only when the gun is cooled and isolated according to its manual. Check the authorised mounting position, hot-part clearance, airflow openings, cable route and access to controls. Confirm whether the arrangement includes a guide or carriage and how it keeps the nozzle correctly positioned. A rigid handle alone is not an automatic floor welder. Do not operate a gun on an unapproved extension or attach through a housing area not designed to carry the load.
Extended Reach Uses an Engineered Assembly
MOZART’s SpeedTrimmer combines a trolley, joint and specified handles. Crain’s No. 333 has an integrated locking extension. Examine the complete retention and control arrangement when checking an extension.
7. Verify the Approved Setup Before Reordering
After documentary approval, make the prescribed cold assembly checks, then test the permitted task on representative material. Check retention, guide contact, working angle and operator control through the whole movement. Stop if the connection shifts, the working face tips or the tool becomes hard to control. For a powered or heated host, follow its specific commissioning and test instructions. Save host model, handle code, adapters, measurements and accepted application together. Send that record with selected products and quantities when requesting the extension.

Domande frequenti
Can I choose an extension by length?
No. The connection, retention, allowed task, load and control arrangement must match.
Does a shared thread size approve two tools for the same handle?
It is only one dimension. Obtain approval for the complete host-and-handle arrangement.
Does a gun extension turn a gun into an automatic welder?
No. Drive, guidance, positioning and the approved operating system must be established separately.
What information do you need for a wholesale quotation?
Send the product names or models, configurations, quantities and delivery destination. You can include mixing buckets, spreaders, spiked rollers and shoes in the same enquiry. The applicable quantity tier, packing details and order conditions will be reviewed for the selected items.
Can you customize the logo or packaging?
Send your logo artwork, preferred placement, packaging requirements and estimated order quantity. ARIK will review the available options for the selected tools and confirm the sample requirements, order conditions and quotation before production.
Can I request samples before a bulk order?
Include the models and configurations you want to evaluate, the intended application and the delivery destination in your enquiry. Sample availability, cost and shipping arrangements need to be confirmed for the selected items before an order is placed.
