Choose Around the Material and Intended Layer
Identify the product being applied, its substrate and the layer you need. An underlayment beneath a floor covering and a finished resin layer can use similar-looking tools with different instructions. Check the permitted application thickness and finishing method before building the list. Self leveling describes the material; it does not remove the need for controlled preparation, mixing, placement and the required finishing operation.
| Selection point | What to check |
|---|---|
| Underlayment | Identify the layer beneath the floor covering. |
| Resin finish | Identify the specified finished resin layer. |
| Specified layer | Record the system's thickness and purpose. |
| Material procedure | Follow the named material's application steps. |
Separate Measuring, Mixing and Carrying
Self Leveling Mixing Tools are containers. Review the container’s confirmed capacity, condition and handling for the selected mixture, then specify the measuring and powered mixing equipment separately. ARDEX’s Tool Kit identifies a barrel, measuring buckets and a paddle as different items. Keep liquid measurement, mixing and carrying in the preparation plan so a container order is not mistaken for a complete mixing station.
Choose the Spreading Head and Working Edge
Compare Wood Handle Squeegee, Plastic Handle Squeegee y Hand Spreading Tool by the actual head, blade attachment and access needed for the layer. Check the blade face specified for the material and review local edges separately from open runs. Handle material alone does not establish film thickness or chemical suitability. Record the head and blade together when requesting tools or replacements.
| Selection point | What to check |
|---|---|
| Working head | Identify the actual spreading head. |
| Blade attachment | Check the blade and holder together. |
| Open area | Review the tool's open-area role. |
| Local edge | Check the approach to local edges. |
Add Rollers and Shoes When the Procedure Calls for Them
Review Spiked Rollers for the finishing method and working window of the named material. Review Zapatos de pinchos only for an access method permitted by that procedure. ARDEX TL 2000 describes spreading followed by smoothing or spike rolling within a continuous application. Check the tool’s confirmed spike arrangement against the layer rather than assuming every pour requires rolling or every shoe can enter every wet system.

Keep Placement and Finishing in One Material Plan
Plan how measured batches reach the prepared area, how the material is spread and which finishing action follows. Keep the product’s working window beside that sequence. Review a representative sample for the intended layer and any tool marks after the required operation. Record the material, blade and conditional roller used so changes in the tool list can be assessed against the same application.
Send a Material-Specific Tool List
Send the material manufacturer and product, substrate, intended layer and work area. Include your container, spreading tool and blade selections, plus rollers or shoes where required. For an existing head, attach mounting photographs for Squeegee Blades. Add quantities and destination. If you want to evaluate an existing product or discuss branding, include that interest with the same list so its available conditions can be reviewed.

Preguntas frecuentes
Does self leveling remove the need for placement tools?
Use the material's application procedure to identify measuring, mixing, spreading and finishing operations. Confirm the working head for each required action and the material's timing. The material description alone does not show which tools are required to place and finish its intended layer.
Should every application use Spiked Rollers and Spiked Shoes?
Check the named material's finishing and access method. Identify whether rolling is required or permitted, its working window and the suitable spike arrangement. Review shoes only for the specified access task; include both as conditional items where the procedure supports them.
Is powered mixing equipment included with the container?
Self Leveling Mixing Tools is the container family in this range. Confirm its actual capacity and supplied items, then identify any powered mixer, paddle and liquid-measuring equipment separately. Keep these items distinct in the preparation plan and quotation.
What information do you need for a wholesale quotation?
Send the product names or models, configurations, quantities and delivery destination. You can include mixing buckets, spreaders, spiked rollers and shoes in the same enquiry. The applicable quantity tier, packing details and order conditions will be reviewed for the selected items.
Can you customize the logo or packaging?
Send your logo artwork, preferred placement, packaging requirements and estimated order quantity. ARIK will review the available options for the selected tools and confirm the sample requirements, order conditions and quotation before production.
Can I request samples before a bulk order?
Include the models and configurations you want to evaluate, the intended application and the delivery destination in your enquiry. Sample availability, cost and shipping arrangements need to be confirmed for the selected items before an order is placed.
