Choose by the Cut Location

Identify whether the job is sizing material, fitting a sheet seam, trimming a wall edge, working around a cove or producing strips. Use that location to shortlist the tool. Check Vinyl Floor Cutter against its confirmed material range for the proposed sizing cut. Seam, edge and cove tools should be assessed against the reference and access of their own detail.

Follow a Reference That Matches the Cut

Identify the reference for the cut before choosing the guide or cutting motion. For a measured sizing cut, review Flooring Rulers and the proposed blade path. For a fitted seam, review Seam Cutting Knife against the adjacent sheet edge. At a wall or cove, check the actual contact feature and hand position. Keep that reference visible through the whole pass, including the finish.

Compare Clearance at the Start and Finish

Compare Large Push Cutting Tool and Small Push Cutting Tool using the space available for the body, grip and required movement. Check the first and last part of the cut as well as the open middle. Use Triangular Flooring Squares to mark and check the corner reference, then make the cut with a separate suitable knife or cutter. A smaller cutting-tool body can help with access, but its name alone does not confirm a particular material or cutting capacity.

Match the Blade and Holder Together

For a replacement, identify the host tool, blade outline, thickness, fixing holes and cutting-edge direction. Check the holder as well as the blade and record any adapter or conversion component separately. Keep the blade reference with the original tool when ordering spares. If a different blade shape is proposed, review its mounting and permitted cutting method before changing the working arrangement.

Inspect an Offcut Before Committing

Test the proposed method on a labelled offcut of the actual floor covering. Examine the edge, face and end of the cut for tearing, damage or unwanted blade travel. Then fit it against the detail it must meet. Keep the material identification and blade setup with the result photograph. A clean cut on a different construction does not answer the question for your floor.

Request the Tool for the Actual Detail

Send the flooring name and construction, material thickness and the cut you need. Include a photograph of the detail, your preferred tool and quantity. For replacement blades, add the host tool and mounting views. If you are stocking several cutting tools, describe the tasks your customers perform so the quotation can keep each tool and spare tied to a clear purpose.

Frequently Asked Questions

Identify the manufacturer, product, construction and thickness, then check the cutter's confirmed material range and the proposed cut. Include a labelled offcut or clear section photo. The vinyl category name alone does not establish rigid-core or SPC cutting capability.

Identify the feature the tool must follow and the space it has to move. A fitted seam references the adjacent sheet; a wall or cove presents another guide and approach. Check the whole pass, including the start and finish of the detail.

Send the host-tool identity, the old blade's outline and both holder and blade photographs. Record thickness, fixing features and cutting direction with dimensions. Identify any adapter separately and describe the flooring and operation the replacement will perform.

Send the product names or models, configurations, quantities and delivery destination. You can include mixing buckets, spreaders, spiked rollers and shoes in the same enquiry. The applicable quantity tier, packing details and order conditions will be reviewed for the selected items.

Send your logo artwork, preferred placement, packaging requirements and estimated order quantity. ARIK will review the available options for the selected tools and confirm the sample requirements, order conditions and quotation before production.

Include the models and configurations you want to evaluate, the intended application and the delivery destination in your enquiry. Sample availability, cost and shipping arrangements need to be confirmed for the selected items before an order is placed.
