How do I choose between the three ruler lengths?
Choose around the dimensional reference required for the job. The recorded graduation options are 300, 500 and 1000mm. Check that the complete assembly fits your work surface and that the material is supported.
Does a longer ruler increase cutting capacity?
A longer ruler extends the available measuring reference. It does not establish greater material-thickness capacity or cutting accuracy. Check the actual blade, material and setup with a sample cut.
Is the ruler detachable?
Yes. The recorded construction uses a detachable connection between the body and ruler. Check the connection and graduation reference when reassembling the tool.
What should I check before repeated strip cutting?
Check the blade condition, ruler zero point, blade position, material edge and connection. Make repeated sample strips from the intended material and compare dimensions at the start, middle and end.
